Student Stampede
A downloadable game for Windows
Originally created in late 2014/early 2015.
A one-button level-based runner! Collect all your chosen student's items in just 8 levels set around and in the University of the Witswatersrand's campus!
Commissioned by the University of the Witswatersrand while we were in 3rd year. Meant to act as a way to make new students excited about the University. Lowest common denominator of skill needed to be able to play - hence the oversimplicity.
*I am not affiliated with University of the Witswatersrand, or do I own full rights to this game, I guess - please don't sue me.*

This is great for kids to play as it's so easy - making games easy enough for children to actually learn to play platform games is rare and involves some design effort. Even old things like Sonic the Hedgehog assumed the player has gained some skill with the previous generation of games - and anything older than looks too bad for kids to be interested.
Dik dik van Dik goes to college and is a playable character seemingly, but despite the joke. It is a very respectable platformer where clouds are being more problematic, but the running style makes for an easy learning curve despite all the obstacles.
